Bobb and his late brother David, formed Main Street Securities, LLC in 1999, as a producer friendly Broker Dealer. They built the firm to 70 representatives managing $1 billion for clients. Due to the changing economic client in 2009 and increased regulations from the government, Bobb decided to "unwind the broker dealer" operations in 2010 and seek out an independent, entrepenurial firm for his group of registered representatives. On July 30, 2010 the firm became affiliated with Independent Financial Group LLC of San Diego CA. This new association represents a positive direction for the firm as a springboard for innovative and leading edge solutions to both client and representative's challenges. Our clients will benefit from an expanded product list and our representatives from a dedicated staff in Hays, KS and San Diego to process their businss in a timely fashion. As OSJ of the Main Street branch office, Bobb uses his expertise in estate, financial planning and money management to assist his personal clientel as well as networking with top advisors around the country, many who will affiliate with the new broker dealer.
